SOLO VIOLIN
Just as the title suggests this is one violin. A solo violin can sound beautiful on it's own and can really add an extra special something to your event. It is particularly good for weddings and corporate events and other celebrations. The violin can be amplified through use of a highest quality DPA microphone and my excellent PA system which is perfect for larger events. Backing tracks can be used to really add depth to the overall sound and is most popular with clients. I have a very wide range of tracks to choose from and I can also arrange tracks of all types as required including all kinds of popular music and Bollywood tracks as well as classical.
I have recently worked Solo in the recording studio to record a track for Cork Ignite 2015 as part of a huge outdoor projection event for Culture Night Ireland 2015. I selected works by the famous Irish composer Turlough O'Carolan and recorded them live to a complex animation as part of this Arts Council Ireland / Cork City Council sponsored event.
Solo Violin prices start from £150. The solo repertoire is always growing so for an up to date list please contact me and check my Repetoire page. Songs that are not listed are often easily arranged so please ask if you don't see the song you really want. This may incur an extra fee depending on the level of complexity.
